Zora's Daughter
In partnership with The Asante Community Connection Zora's Daughter is designed for Summit girls in grades 3-6 to teach them about the rich legacy upon which they stand by celebrating literacy greats. The girls will create poetry, short stories, and spoken work. The Summit girls will have the opportunity to become published authors.

CHAMPIONS Program
In partnership with the Emmanuel Missionary Baptist Church The CHAMPIONS Program is boys mentoring programs for grades 4th-6th, that connects the young men at Tindley Summit Academy will with a male mentor.

Leader in Me- Student Ambassador
Student Ambassadors are selected from Kinder-6th grade and selected for exuding excellence in leadership, scholarship, and behavior. Student ambassadors are selected by the school principal and are recognized each quarter amongst their peers. They participate and represent our school in various leadership opportunities that include touring, speaking, or representing our school.

Indiana Council on Educating Students of Color (Tutoring)
This after-school tutoring program is geared towards building Reading Literacy. Our 3rd- 6th graders (3rd graders are prioritized) are able to take full advantage of this opportunity. The tutoring program focuses on literacy skills specific to academic vocabulary, decoding, fluency, writing, and reading comprehension. The program will run daily Monday-Thursday from 4:15-6:00 PM.

Summit Chess Club
In partnership with the Indy Inner City Chess Program, this program will teach Summit scholars the fundamentals of chess while also teaching the following: boost in positivity, improving memory, problem-solving, improvements in cognition, improve brain function, and improves concentration.

Boys and Girls Club partnership
In partnership with the East location Boys and Girls Club of Indianapolis, any Tindley Summit student across Kinder-6th grade is able to be picked up after school by the B&G Club bus, to be transported to the center. We have observed this partnership for the past 4 years and our families are excited about doing it again this school year.

Sports- Cheer, Boys/Girls basketball
Our cheer athletes season runs while boys and girls basketball seasons are running.
